Bertie Ahern has resigned and given up the struggle for his political life here on earth.
He has passed on his crown of thorns to Biffo who exclaimed as Bertie passed on "He truely was the son of God!"
Bertie will now go to FF heaven along with Jack Lynch, Sean Lemass and God himself (Dev).
