Bertie Ahern and FF

FF did not win the election. They just didn't lose it. FF lost one seats and so did Labour.

It was the PDs, SF and Greens who lost out.


Bertie Ahern's is projecting his party's ability to hold its ground as a victory and endorsement for his government but it is more stagnation than a cause for celebration.

This coupled with the very murky area of his personal finances where he took money repeatedly from loads of different people while a serving member of the government is now hanging over him and any prospective partners.

FF should ditch Bertie and free up themselves of the whiff from Bertie's past.
