The headline 'Wallace steps in at number 10' on the Irish Times left me wondering if Tony Blair or John Prescott had stepped down and who was this Wallace guy and where had he come from?
Turns out Wallace is Paddy Wallace who will replace Ulster outhalf David Humphreys when Mark McCall's side take to the pitch against Glasgow at Hughenden this weekend.
Would he have made a better job of it then Tony or John. Couldn't do worse.
As for the other two replacing Walalce, Tony Blair might have made a good club president but John Prescott, the fighting, pie eating and renowned lover would have made a great captain of the Seconds.

After that fantastic Ireland debut, he'd probably not find it too tough making Taoiseach at the next general...
Well, it was an encouraging debut, but the Islanders were poor enough. Paddy Wallace is no Rog, though his place kicking was pretty good.
On the other hand, if he's not wanted in number 10, and if Eddie spurns him as well, he'll do fine instead of Bert. In fact, my old Christmas tree will do fine instead of Bert.
