I'm beginning to pity "colour" writers like Miriam Lord. Irish politics is becoming so absurd it is hard to mock even in a surreal way.We have a solicitor, who is a Minister, who lied under oath yet who won't resign his office. If he lies to a court then how can he be trusted not to lie to the House or to the Government itself?
In the UK Johnathon Aiken and Jeffery Archer were both brought before court for similar offences and got prison sentences.
Will Willie be brought to court to account for his lies, will he have to resign his Ministry, Will he he fuck!
Fianna Fail are laughing at us! They're laughing cause we just keep letting them away with it.
