Do we need another female President called Mary (well a male President called Mary would be unusual) ?Is it not patronising and weird to assume all our Presidents must be female and must be called Mary?
Well one woman called Mary cetrtainly doesn't think so..........

Ms White said her goal for the presidency was to bring Ireland back to being a caring society in the post-Celtic Tiger era.
The businesswoman, who co-founded the successful Lir Chocolates firm in 1987, will be seeking the nomination from the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party.
